Cindy’s Schick Story

I love my life!

I’ve always had a fast-paced life. Owning a real estate company, being a professional auctioneer, performing in dinner theatre, singing and being an avid community supporter, my life is full! Working hard and playing hard, alcohol was always a part of my life. After drinking over a long period of time, my body became addicted.

For a few years I tried to quit, sometimes for a couple of weeks and sometimes for a month, but I would always go back to drinking, whether I craved it to deal with stress or needed it to fall asleep.

After the heartbreak of my mom’s passing, I had two weeks of heavy, emotional drinking. That’s when I realized that I had to stop and I knew just where to get help. My dad and grandmother had been treated successfully at Schick Shadel Hospital many years ago, so I called Schick and booked my ten-day stay. That was ten years ago and let me tell you, there is no amount of money worth the sense of freedom I feel now and the energy I’ve gained from eliminating alcohol from my life.

If you are considering quitting drinking, give Schick a call. They will help you lose your cravings so you can finally be free to live your life to it’s fullest potential.

To life!
