Schick Shadel Hospital Facilities

Schick Shadel Hospital was built and has maintained it's current location since 1965. Our facility is medium size and handicap accessible with private as well as semi-private rooms. Located just minutes from SeaTac Airport, the hospital is in a quiet environment, set down the hill away from any street noise. A walking path goes all around our property, with many areas set up for reflection and quiet contemplation, or simply to enjoy the outdoors. We have a smoking deck with a fire pit and heaters, as well as a gazebo area for non-smoking patients.

Each room has a TV and phone with internet connection. Patients are allowed to bring their cell phones and computers so they can keep in touch with their business, family and friends.

Our facility has an exercise room as well as a lounge where patients can watch movies together or play games. The lower level has a ping pong table for patients to enjoy and a library with a warm, inviting fireplace. Curl up next to the fireplace in one of our comfortable wing backed leather chairs to enjoy favorite books and magazines, or just to take a few minutes entering your thoughts in a journal.

A snack area is open 24/7 for coffee, tea, juices, popcorn, crackers and fruit. Our dining room serves complete meals 3 times a day. Patients sometimes enjoy ordering pizza or a meal out, and we have a large list of take out menus from local area restaurants who will deliver.

On-site parking is limited, however we provide off-site parking at no charge to the patient. We'll even pay for your cab ride to and from the facility to drop off or pick up your car.

Our caring, compassionate medical staff provides the treatment program in a kind, considerate and supportive atmosphere. Insurance
Schick Shadel Hospital's treatment program is covered by most insurance. Our admission counselors will work with patients to verify their benefits prior to admission.

Dietary services
All meals and snacks are provided on a daily basis, served in the cafeteria. A registered dietitian is available for consultations and education.

Semi-private room with telephone, television, internet connection; patient lounge with televisions; massage therapist is an option at an additional charge; daily newspapers – USA Today and Wall Street Journal free; ping- pong table; patient deck; coffee (regular and decaf), tea and soft drinks available at no charge; educational and entertaining videos and movies are available; housekeeping; comfortable hospital wear and robes are furnished.
